art history's full of bears



mark wallinger won the turner prize this year with State Britain yet it was another piece that was exhibited in the end - 'Sleeper'. tate has a semi-interesting video clip of wallinger explaining the process behind this particular work ('one thing led to another and here i am dressed as a bear....in this empty building').

better though is this dubbed version which has wallinger's bear-man wandering the gallery floor musing in a squeaky voice and growling to himself. i am a bear indeed.
